Tom Parker Bowles returns!
Tom Parker Bowles
Tom wowed the crowds at last year’s Festival with dishes packed full of Yorkshire chillies, not for the faint-hearted! Having had so much fun he was keen to return this year too.
Tom is a food writer and broadcaster with a weekly column in The Mail on Sunday. He has three books the third of which, A Journey Through the British and Their Food won the Guild of Food Writers 2010 award for best work on British food. His next book, Let’s Eat, is a compendium of his favourite recipes written with the amateur cook in mind.
As a patron Tom is keen to promote all the superb produce surrounding Malton and the town itself as one of Yorkshire’s top destinations for food lovers. He will appearing on stage in the Cookery Theatres and will be signing books at the Festival. His cookery theatre timings will be announced in due course.
I really do think that what is going on in Malton is very special. I honestly believe that it could become a name that sits along other events in places like Ludlow
The quality of the produce on show, and the conversations the stall holders have with visitors at an event like this puts Malton on par with the best in the country. It is a total joy to be part of it and l can’t wait to be in Malton again!
