Following on from the success of last years inaugural Beer Festival, 2011 will see a two-day Beer, Wine and Drinks Celebration which will include 33 casks of real ale, 4 ciders and a separate wine bar. As well as this there will be tutored tastings, music and an all-day “beer garden” area. The action will take place inside and around the Milton Rooms directly off Malton’s market place and doors will open from 1030am – 11pm on Saturday and from 1030am until the beer runs out on Sunday!
On SATURDAY NIGHT from 6pm the fun really starts as Live Bands will take to the stage and great street food and all the drinks will be flowing until 11pm.
Last years festival saw a wonderful variety of real ales many from Malton’s very own brewing family the Suddaby’s. In fact two of their beers took centre stage as the most popular festival beers, the smooth and elegant Golden Chance, and the excellently named (and flavoured) Ginger Whinger! This year with double the number of casks it’s sure to be memorable…
