Visitors to the festivalcan enjoy a walkabout banquet experience by following the ‘Welcome to Yorkshire Taste Trail’, a fun and delicious new addition to this year’s weekend celebration.
The Taste Trail has been specially arranged to allow food lovers to explore the town and to sample some great food and drink at venues displaying the ‘Taste Trail Venue’ sign. 20 of the town’s food retailers and eateries as well as non-food businesses will have different local speciality ‘tasting dishes’ for visitors to sample the local and house specialities. To join in the fun, visitors simply need to purchase the special Taste Trail Vouchers from the Malton Tourist Information Centre and Museum or from the Festival Information Point, both in the central Market Place or in the tasting venues themselves.
The Vouchers, costing £2 each, are redeemable against one tasting dish and will be valid in every tasting venue. The vouchers will be accompanied by a Taste Trail Leaflet showing the location and ‘tasting dish’ of each tasting venue.
