Family Entertainment
As well as all the Food Glorious Food, chefs and general gourmet merriment there will be a host of great family entertainment and music to enjoy also. Throughout town and over the whole weekend there will be a programme of music including the Malton White Star Band, the Whitby Choir and special performances from pupils at Malton School. We are also delighted to announce that the Gas Light Trio, the excellent New Orleans jazz band from Scarborough will be playing on both days and no doubt keeping everyone very happy! In the Livestock Market area, members of the local farming community will be putting on the excellent ‘FARMING SKILLS‘ programme.
Visitors to the 2011 Festival can also enjoy an ‘THE ARMY KITCHEN‘ with Scimitar tank and Paintball Range, a Young Chefs’ Competition, the ‘Mayoral Cook Off’, Taste Trail, Streetfood Stalls and much more…!
Meanwhile at Malton Museum, there will be more fun for all the family! A foodie quiz, demonstrations using the corn stone as well as some authentic Roman recipes being dished up on-site.
